Markenfield Hall wedding photographers are spoilt for choice in this fantastic little hidden gem, one of FNS weddings favourite venues for fabulous Markenfield Hall wedding photos.
One of Yorkshires best kept secrets, Markenfield Hall is a medieval house, mostly built in 1310 and completely encircled by a moat. Having being very little alterted over the years, other than a sympathetic restoration by the present owners, Markenfield Hall is recognised as the most complete surviving medium sized 14th century country house left in England today.
Situated down a little private drive off the main A61 Harrogate to Ripon road, Markenfield Hall boasts it’s own little chapel for blessings. Perfect for the smaller, more intimate wedding, Markenfield Hall can cater for a smaller wedding breakfast with the feeling and ambiance of a private dinner party. We love Markenfield Hall – it’s on the shortlist for our own wedding – now we can’t give a higher recommendation that that can we?
Our slide-show shows a wedding ceremony and private family wedding breakfast at Markenfield Hall followed by continuing celebrations with extended family and friends in a marquee.
If you are considering a wedding at a intimate wedding venue like Markenfield Hall you may also like to consider: Hipping Hall, The Box Tree, Bolton Castle, The Hospitium in York or Fountains Abbey, all of which lend themselves to FNS Weddings fantastic Wedding Art photography.
